This blog will be used as a continued outlet for extended discussions of what we cover in class. Each week you may participate and post your comments (please make sure they are detailed and consist of at least one, full paragraph) for extra credit on daily assignments. The first topic is below:
As you, my students, continue your educational journey, you will meet people who will inspire you to enhance your life. You will also meet people who will take a step further to motivate you to reach new goals in your life. And then, one day you will decide that there will be a time in your life to change . . . could be a minor or major detail, but you will at some point, evolve. And finally, you will continuously gain independence. . .physically and mentally. So, this week as we cover new standards and review the lives of the Early Americans, think what or who could have inspired and motivated them to want to change and become independent. . . not only as individuals, but independent as a nation . . . they were evolving and creating a new nation. . . now, that is quite a journey. . . where do you see your journey leading you? What will be your next destination? What is your plan and what are your goals? How do you plan to achieve them?

My plans and goals in my life vary. My ultimate goal is to finish college with a Bachelor Degree and join the United States Marine Corps as an officer. I have many plans, also, in my life that I hope will become reality. I plan to find true, honest love and get happily married. I plan to have the most beautiful kids and watch them grow up to live happy lives. I plan on having an amazing home and an all around a happy life. Though life is not that simple and plans constantly change. Maybe These plans can become reality and I have realised that through hard work, sacrifice, and some what, fate, it will someday. As far as the question, "where do you see your journey leading you?", I feel that the journey of high school and focusing on these goals and plans is leading me to becoming a better person. My next destination is, somewhat, unknown. I just have to see what the future holds for me and what I can do for myself to get me to a better destination.

My plans in life change frequently. I really want to graduate highschool and go to college. Preferrably MTSU to become an air traffic controller, or to be an RN. I really want to live my life married without kids. Kids just aren't what I want. I would like to be able to travel all over the world and see historic places. I know that God puts things in your life as challenges to make you a better person, and it does make a better person out of me. And I try to learn from those mistakes.

I feel my next destination in life is becoming a senior and moving on to college. I plan to attend ETSU and maybe do something in the dental field, but my true goal is to get married and have a family.I plan to do this by keeping God first in my life.My family, friends, and boyfriend Josh are my support system and keep me motivated to do my best in life.

In the next few years to com i plan to go on to the University of Tennessee. Im not sure whether to study engineering or business, but whatever i end up choosing i will get a job and save up my money until I can invest in a business and hopefully i will make it big one day. I have decided that i will not let anything stop me from my goals. I know there will be mistakes but i hope to learn from them and be a better person because of it.
ReplyDeleteI see myself in a few years playing collage football. I know that i will have to be better on and off the field. I will have to study harder. I will also have to be physically and mentaly stronger. I have to inspire myself to be better and strive for victory. I want to look back and say "I gave life and God all i had."

ReplyDeleteI will graduate highschool in the top ten percent. Then I plan to go to the University of Tennessseee Chattanooga for four years. I then I hope to go to UT knoxville for veterinarian school. Then in the future I wish to open my own veterinarian practice. These are my dreams and goals.
My plans in life have changed so many times throught my childhood. When I was 5 i was determined to be the next Britany Spears but i quickly learned that was not happening. I have finally decided that i want to finish high school and graduate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a nursing degree so I can become a neonatial nurse because I love babies and helping others. I want to find my true love and marry him and live in a beautiful house. I plan to have children, my dream is to have a set of twin girls and then a little boy later on. I know if I work hard and apply myself I can reach these goals and dreams of mine.
ReplyDeleteSeeing my future is a bit hard,I don't really think about it. Well as for a start I am moving out of my mothers house this summer. That is my first major destination. After this I plan to go on to college.I hope to one day be a great mathmatician. And if I can't succeed in my dream, which now seems to be fleeting. However, if in the event that I do fail. I will go to school to become a phlebotomist, which is easy school for easy and ok money, I most likely will do something else as well to make money, to make a decent living. Now as for my ending, I feel it needs to be cliche.
ReplyDeleteI realize to achieve my goals I need to study hard and pay attention in school, and in doing so I will achieve said goals.

In my furture i would like to be a ob or gyno. I love children and working with them. I know I have to study more and try harder in school to suceed. Everyone know you have to make alot of money to have children and being a nurse, you will always have a secure job. I want three kids, two boys and a girl. That would make my life complete. If I could have a rich, beautiful, loving husband on top of all that, it would make my furture even better. That is alot to ask for. Life isn't a fairytale but i beleive mine will turn out somewhat good if I keep jesus close to my heart.
